This item is a certified "ICG-Genuine Buffalo Nickel", which is a 5-cent coin from the United States, also known as an Indian Head nickel. The coin is encased in a haematically sealed protective holder with "Ruthenium & Hologram" finish, certified by ICG. This particular Buffolo Nickel is from 1937 and designed by James Earle Fraser. 
It is made of 75% copper and 25% nickel.
